What does a reservation mean?
A reservation is not an offer or contract to purchase or sell. It shows intent to purchase a specific home and homesite.
What is required to make a reservation?
To reserve your home/homesite, you will:
- Complete the “Reservation Instrument” via docusign sent after your appointment
- Complete the Receipt of Public Report via docusign sent after your appointment
- Submit a $5000 refundable deposit check made out to First American Title Company within 3 days after your appointment.
What happens if I decline to make deposit?
You will be added to a list that will be given to the Master Builder to follow-up if any unsold units are available after exhausting our current list of committed buyers.
When will actual contracts be signed and amenities selected by me?
Before you sign the Purchase Agreement sometime before actual home construction begins.
When will I know the amenities package, costs and final purchase price before contracts are signed?
Anticipate around February or March for all those details.
What’s generally included with the home?
The homes are intended to be “turnkey” which means fully landscaped, front and back yards. The interior amenity packages have not been determined.
Will I be able to select colors, carpets, flooring, etc.?
Yes, same time as contract. DeNova will have a design center.
When will models be available?
Models will be built simultaneously with the first group of homes. The first 10-15 buyers may not have models to see before the construction.
What happens if I don’t want to sign a contract until I see the models?
Builder will try to accommodate your timeframe, BUT you may have to move to a later release stage and your spot given to someone who wants to move earlier.
What happens to my money while I wait for my contract?
It’s in a deposit account in the name of First American Title Company and cannot be transferred without your written consent.
How do I request a refund?
By E-mail to Bretton Woods, LLC and First American Title Company
Will you accept contingency buyers?
Not likely. You will have plenty of advance time to sell or obtain short-term bridge financing. First Northern Bank has expressed an interest in doing that type of financing for buyers of Bretton Woods homes.
How/When do I choose my elevation?
At the time of signing a contract subject to any City imposed design guideline limitations as to repeat elevations.
